Spotlight on Thirtyfive Flowers
Handmade lined bag
Louise Brainwood is the lady behind Thirtyfive Flowers. Living in Berkhamsted with her husband and two daughters, aged 12 and 15, she originally trained as a jeweller. Louise worked designing and making jewellery for about 15 years, selling worldwide. She also worked for a few years at a local Berkhamsted pre-school (and still does when needed!) but a couple of years ago she found she had to stay at home for a few months to care for one of her daughter's who was poorly. To keep Louise occupied she started sewing and then selling online through eBay. A year and a half later Louise's daughter is well and Thirtyfive Flowers is also going strong.
Doorstop by Thirtyfive Flowers
Louise makes all sorts of items including cushions and doorstops for the home plus purses and bags. She uses a mix of gorgeous fabrics including some vintage finds along with some Cath Kidston designs.
Cute purse
Louise especially loves appliqué work and will be bringing some new appliqué cushions to the Bumps, Babes and Beyond Fayre, as well as her best selling LOVE cushions. Gorgeous!
handmade cushions
Louise is also happy to accept commissions for bunting and even cushions for nurseries.
Come along to the fayre on Friday 12th June at Berkhamsted Town Hall from 9.30am till noon (have we mentioned that before?) and meet Louise along with all our other talented mumpreneurs.
More tasters to follow soon - keep checking back!
love from
